App sales on the Apple App Store have never been so good. In the weeks marking the Christmas and New Year periods, a record was even broken: over $ 1.1 billion was spent on apps and purchases in-app during the two weeks preceding January 3, said Apple. Also, another record was broken on January 1: 144 million dollars of purchases were recorded in a single day.
